Gli oggetti della Bottega Fabergé, esposti alla Reggia di Venaria Reale (TO) fino al 9 Novembre, sono dei pezzi di artigianato sublimi, che mostrano il livello di precisione raggiungibile dalla mano dell’uomo [English version below].
Bisogna riconoscere la bravura quando la si incontra e non lasciarsi impressionare solo dall’oro, dai diamanti e dalle pietre preziose variamente assortite e intrecciate per stabilirne la bellezza, perché anche con materiali meno nobili la produzione del Mastro Orafo francese avrebbe lo stesso grande potere ammaliatore, fatto di gusto estetico, leggerezza e fantasia.
La mostra si articola in un percorso suddiviso in tre sezioni che si snoda nelle dieci Sale delle Arti e permette di ammirare 13 delle celebri uova e oltre 350 oggetti prodotti nella fabbrica orafa di San Pietroburgo. I nomi dei molti artigiani che lavorarono nella bottega raccontano di un ambiente laborioso, dove le capacità manuali di molti incontrarono il genio creativo del titolare della Maison.
In esposizione si trovano perciò anche beni appartenuti alla famiglia reale russa, come i portasigarette o il portatabacco, il binocolo da teatro e i set da scrivania, le fibbie e i gioielli, fino alle tante cornici in miniatura per i volti timidamente virati al colore dei bambini e dei loro genitori. Oggetti figli della loro epoca, della nostra, così moderni il cui contatto col lusso quasi spiazza tanta è la nostra abitudine ad avere a che fare con monili antichi.
È un’evoluzione di stile quella che si può ammirare dentro le teche illuminate, che cavalca il passaggio tra i secoli XIX e XX, ma che racconta sempre il benessere esagerato in cui pochi hanno vissuto sulle spalle di un popolo esasperato e spinto dalla fame verso la Rivoluzione.

The Jeweler of the Tsars
Fabergé objects, exposed at Venaria Reale Castle (TO) until November 9th, are sublime pieces of craftsmanship, which show the level of accuracy attainable by man.
It’s important recognize the good skill and not be impressed only by gold, diamonds and precious stones variously graded and intertwined to determine its beauty, because even with less noble materials the production of French Master Goldsmith would have the same great power charmer, made up of lightness and fantasy.
The exhibition is divided into three sections where is possible to admire 13 of the famous eggs and over 350 objects produced in the goldsmith factory in St. Petersburg. The names of many craftsmen who worked in the shop tell of a hard-working environment, where the hand skills of many met the creative genius of the owner of the Maison.
On display there are also property belonging to the Russian royal family, as cigarettes or tabac holders, the opera glasses and desk sets, buckles and jewelry, and many frames for small pictures colored. Objects sons of their era, so modern, whose contact with the luxury is strange because of our habit to have to do with antique jewelry.
It is an evolution of style that can be seen in the illuminated display cases, which straddles the transition between the XIX and XX centuries, but it always tells the well-being of few lays on the shoulders of a people, exasperated and driven by hunger to the Revolution.
