Nata come manifestazione OFF di Artissima, la sorella minore Paratissima ha ottenuto nelle sette passate edizioni grande successo di pubblico e torna anche quest’anno a mostrare il fermento artistico di Torino (e non solo) dal 7 all’11 Novembre 2012.
Il titolo di questa edizione è “PARATISSIMA…C’EST MOI!” , per ribadire che il concetto dell’Arte alla base dell’evento è che questa deve collaborare con la società e l’ambiente, infatti coinvolge artisti, creativi, fotografi, illustratori, stilisti, scrittori, registi e designer emergenti, portando le loro creazioni in luoghi pubblici (come negozi, appartamenti, locali pubblici) perché vengano apprezzate da un più vasto e comune pubblico.
La location scelta è l’ex M.O.I. (sotto le Arcate), oltre agli spazi dell’ex Villaggio Olimpico. Insieme alle esposizioni sono previsti anche concerti, performance live ed eventi speciali, perché fare Arte possa diventare una festa. San Salvario, il quartiere che ha ospitato per quattro edizioni la rassegna, sarà la sede del Distretto del Design.

Born as an event OFF of Artissima, the younger Paratissima obtained in the seven previous editions great success and returns this year to show the artistic ferment of Turin (and not only) from 7th to 11th November 2012.
The title of this edition is “Paratissima … C’EST MOI”, to emphasize that the Art must work with the society and the environment, in fact the event involves artists, designers, photographers, illustrators, designers, writers, directors and emerging designers, bringing their creations in public places (such as shops, apartments, public places) because they will be appreciated by a wider audience and shared.
The location chosen is the former M.O.I. (under the Arches), in addition to the spaces of the 2006 Olympic Village. Along with the exhibitions are also planned concerts, live performances and special events, because making Art may become a party. San Salvario, the borough that hosted last four editions will be the site of the District of Design.
